TestProcess.Measure.Length.Radius

Description – Length Radius commonly thought of as half the diameter of a full circle, the radius is the distance from the center point to the edge of an arc or partial circle.

Required Parameters

  • Length

Optional Parameters

  • Type – {Inside, Outside}
  • Position – Where is it being measured? [plain text]
  • Reference – DIN, ISO, ASTM, ASME, or Federal G-Series Measurement Specifications  [plain text]

Measured Value & Uncertainty

  • Length (m)

TestProcess.Measure.Length.Circumference

Description – Length Circumference is the length measured around the inside or outside of a round or circular object.

Required Parameters

  • Length

Optional Parameters

  • Type – {Inside, Outside}
  • Position – Where is it being measured? [plain text]
  • Reference – DIN, ISO, ASTM, ASME, or Federal G-Series Measurement Specifications  [plain text]

TestProcess.Measure.Length.Diameter

Description – Length Diameter is the edge-to-edge straight-line distance passing through the center of a circular object. It can measure the inside open space or outside diameter of the object.

Required Parameters

  • Length

Optional Parameters

  • Type – {Inside, Outside}
  • Position – Where is it being measured? [plain text]
  • Reference – DIN, ISO, ASTM, ASME, or Federal G-Series Measurement Specifications  [plain text]

Measured Value & Uncertainty

  • Length (m)

TestProcess.Measure.Length

Description – Length is the straight-line distance between two points.  It can be measured in one, two, or three dimensions with 6 degrees of freedom.

Length measurements are made from Point 1 to Point 2 based on the reference definition of an ISO or ASME standard datum specifically defining the orientation and references for each of the x,y,z points.   The start and end points allow defining and distinguishing direction if required; otherwise, they are interchangeable.

Required Parameters

  • Length

Optional Parameters

  • StartPointX – Start Point on the X-Axis distance from the reference
  • EndPointX – End Point on the X-Axis distance from the reference
  • StartPointY – Start Point on the Y-Axis distance from the reference
  • EndPointY – End Point on the Y-Axis distance from the reference
  • StartPointZ – Start Point on the Z-Axis distance from the reference
  • EndPointZ – End Point on the Z-Axis distance from the reference
  • Reference – ISO- or ASME-compliant datum drawing specification (or equivalent unambiguous specification) [plain text]

Measured Value & Uncertainty

  • Length (m)

TestProcess.Measure.Voltage.DC.Segemented.Delta

The process measures the average difference between two segments of  voltage generated by the UUT using a digitizing voltmeter.  This is typically used in square wave measurement where you want to know the difference between the top of the square wave and the base of the square wave.

Using the trigger point the meter will measure the average voltage starting from the RefDelay to the end of the measurement width as the reference voltage.  Then measure from the average voltage from the MeasDely to the end of the measurement width as the measured voltage.   Then report back the delta voltage of measured voltage – the reference voltage.

Required Parameters

  • Volts –
  • MeasDelay –
  • RefDelay –
  • Width –

Optional Parameters

  • Samples –
  • UUT.Output – Output Name of the UUT Connecting Point

Measured Value & Uncertainty

  • Volts

TestProcess.Measure.Voltage.PeakToPeak

The process measures the AC Peak-To-Peak Voltage sourced by the UUT  with a digitizing voltmeter.  It will report back the voltage difference of the highest measured value – the lowest measured value in voltage.

Required Parameters

  • Volts –
  • Frequency –

Optional Parameters

  • UUT.Output – Output Name of the UUT Connecting Point

Measured Value & Uncertainty

  • Volts

TestProcess.Measure.Time.Period

The process of measuring the time Period of an electrical signal.

Required Parameters

  • Period

Optional Parameters

  • Volts –
  • Impedance – Ohme

Measured Value & Uncertainty

  • Time

TestProcess.Source.Time.Transition

The process of generating a rise-time or fall-time pulse of a pulse signal.  The transition can be either be in a positive direction (Risetime) or a negative direction (Fall time).

Required Parameters

  • Transition – {Rise, Fall}
  • Vpp – Requested Volts Peak to Peak

Optional Parameters

  • TransitionTime – in Seconds (0 s indicates as fast as possible)
  • Type -{10To90, 20To80}
  • Period – in Seconds
  • Width – in Seconds
  • Offset – in Volts
  • Impedance – Ohms

Measured Value & Uncertainty

  • Time – in Seconds

TestProcess.Measure.Ratio.Humidity.Specific

Measuring the ratio of the mass of water vapor to the total mass of the dry air. The gravimetric method of calibration determines the specific humidity, with pressure and temperature having no effect on the masses.

Also referred to as moisture content

Required Parameters

  • Humidity

Optional Parameters

  • DryAirMass
  • WaterVaporMass

Measured Value & Uncertainty

  • Humidity {%}
