TestProcess.Source.Frequency.Cutoff.AC.Sinewave

A test process that generates a StartFrequency as the specified Volts level. Then measures the reference voltage on the UUT.  Now the frequency can be increased or decreased until the cutoff ratio or StopFrequency is reached.

This test method can be used to test the cutoff frequencies of HighPass and LowPass filters.  For notch and Bandpass filters use TestProcess.Source.Frequency.Bandpass.AC.Sinewave

Required Parameters

  • StartFrequency – Start Frequency and Test Reference Frequency
  • StepFrequency – Frequency increment value
  • StopFrequency – Maximum frequency for this test. (This should fail the UUT if reached)
  • CutoffRatio – Typically -3 dB

Optional Parameters

  • Impedance – Output Impedance (50 Ohms assumed)
  • UUT.Input – Input Name of the UUT Connecting Point
