TestProcess.Measure.Torque.HydraulicPressure

Definition- A test process that measures the accuracy of hydraulic torque wrenches where hydraulic pressure is applied to the torque wrench and it applies a known torque to the nut or bolt being tightened.

This process usually is used to calibrate hydraulic torque wrenches producing a lookup sheet the operator can use to quickly look up the pressure required to correctly torque the bolt or nut.

Required Parameters

  • Pressure – The hydraulic pressure applied {in Pa if the unit of measure is included}
  • Torque – The expected torque output {in Nm if the unit of measure is included}

Optional Parameters

  • Direction – {CW, CCW}
  • Connector – Text

Output Value & Uncertainty

  • Torque
