TestProcess.Measure.Current.DC.Delta.Current.SourceEffect

The process measures the change in the output current of a device under test as the AC power source voltage is changed.

The reference current is measured from the device under test’s output when the AC power input voltage is set to the “InputVoltsRef” value. Then the AC Power input voltage is changed to the “InputVolts” value and the test output current is measured.  The resulting measured value is then reported as a change in the current (measured current – reference current).

This test is commonly performed on DC power supplies under a  95%  wattage load.

Required Parameters

  • Amps – A – Output Current
  • Volts – V – Output Voltage
  • InputVolts – AC Volts input setting
  • InputVoltsRef  – AC Volts input setting

Optional Parameters

  • UUT.Output – Output Name of the UUT Connecting Point

Measured Value & Uncertainty

  • Amps – Change / Delta Current under the condition
