A test process that generates a CenterFrequency as the specified Volts level. Then measures the reference voltage on the UUT. Now the source frequency can be increased or decreased until the cutoff ratios are measured or the StartFrequency and StopFrequency are reached. The two frequencies are then subtracted from each other resulting in a bandpass frequency
This test method can be used to test the Bandpass frequencies or bandwidth filters. For notch and High and Low pass filters see TestProcess.Source.Frequency.Cutoff.AC.Sinewave
Required Parameters
- CenterFrequency – Center of the ban and the Reference Frequency
- StartFrequency – Start of the band frequency (This should fail the UUT if reached)
- StopFrequency – Maximum frequency for this test. (This should fail the UUT if reached)
- StepFrequency – Frequency increment value
- CutoffRatio – Typically -3 dB
Optional Parameters
- Impedance – Output Impedance (50 Ohms assumed)
- UUT.Input – Input Name of the UUT Connecting Point
Output Value & Uncertainty

- StartFrequency – Start Frequency and Test Reference Frequency
- StepFrequency – Frequency increment value
- StopFrequency – Maximum frequency for this test. (This should fail the UUT if reached)

Output Value & Uncertainty
A test process that measures the Pulsed Power level of an RF signal as compared to the unmodulated CW signal. Where the signal level is first measured in a CW mode and stored as the reference measurement, then the signal is pulse-modulated and the peak RF signal is measured.

A test process sourcing two frequencies with a know frequency difference between the two frequencies. This test process is often used when calibrating frequency span on a spectrum analyzer. When FrequencyRef is sourced and measured by the UUT, then Frequency is sources and measured. The resulting Delta Frequency the difference between Frequency – FrequencyRef.

The process of measuring the RF Carrier power of a Pulse Modulated Signal at transmission or On power compared to the power of no signal in the Off power. The two measured values are compared, the results can be expressed as dBc or percent of change. This test is often used to test the Pulse On/Off test of a signal generator.
- Frequency – Frequency of the carrier signal
- Power – Power of the signal
Optional Parameters
- UUT.Output – Output Name of the UUT Connecting Point
Output Value & Uncertainty
- dBc – Measured Value – Reference Value
The process of measuring the Percent of Modulation of an Amplitude Modulation (AM) Signal at a Reference Rate Frequency then changing the Modulation Rate measuring the Amplitude Modulation again. The two measured values are compared, the results can be expressed as Delta dB or percent of change. This test is often used to test the Amplitude Modulation Bandwith of a signal generator.
